HOPE provides support for marriage of young girls from impoverished families who cannot afford the marriage expenses. The project was initiated by Dr. Farid Qazi, a USA based Oncologist. Dr. Farid Qazi is a specialist in Blood disorders and Cancer treatment he is in a solo practice at Dublin Hematology & Oncology Care, PC. He has served as an assistant professor of internal medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine Dr. Farid Qazi, has been ex President DOGANA and socially very active.
The support includes provision of furniture, jewellery, clothes, utensils as well as the ceremony expenses. Priority is given to orphans and the very poor. HOPE takes the responsibility of providing the support in the form of kind. The estimated cost to support a marriage is $1500.
