Improving Access to EmOC by addressing the three delays: Community – Transport – Hospital. A population of 100,000 covering 199 villages. 210 traditional birth attendants received training for EMOC and early referral. . Safe Delivery kits provided community facilitators trained to recognize danger signs. Catchments area of the two HOPE – Hospital – Karachi – Thatta. Midwives and TBA’s trained for early referral and comprehensive Obstetric care provided under care of gynecologists.
